Frequently Askes Questions / Terms and Conditions

What Are The Payment Conditions?

All WebSAT plans and add-on's need to be paid in advance annually and there is no refund within the first year. After this period, refunds will be calculated based on the remaining full months. Other services (like maintenance, custom development, general consulting) will be invoiced separately and are generally payable within 14 days.

We reserve the right to de-activate the site if:

  • any payment is not made by the due date.
  • a client ceases business.
  • for any reason, a client is deemed unable to make appropriate
payments or is in breach of business agreements.
  • any offensive contents are posted on the website.

Once a site has been de-activated, you will get a notification and have 7 days to attend to the matter. After this period, we reserve the right to shut the site down (delete all contents) at any time. In this case, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage this may cause.

Can I switch plans after signing-up?

Yes. Upgrading and downgrading can be done at any time. When upgrading within the annual period, the pro-rata upgrade price for the remaining months have to be paid before the upgrade takes effect. There is no refund for downgrading or cancelling the annual plan.

Do I ever have to pay more for my chosen plan?

No. Even plan prices are subject to change, they will never raise once you locked in a plan. Price reductions will always be passed on at the next renewal date. This means, unless you change or cancel your plan, you never pay more than you signed up for.

Will my website work in all browsers?

Your website will work and display in ALL modern browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc). We will also ensure that it will keep working in future versions as we constantly updating and improving dynamic elements like drop-down menu systems, forms, etc - this is all done as a free service to our clients. The only limitation is that the inline-editing feature as well as WebSAT itself requires Internet Explorer Version 6 or above. This is mainly due to the enhanced drag&drop interface and some advanced scripting which is only available in IE.

Where is my website hosted?

WebSAT is developed and provided to you by off-ice applications, but your website will be hosted with one of our hosting partners. We only choose Australia-based partners which offer hosting locally here in Australia and provide state-of-the-art support. This way we can take the "hosting problem" off you as we always make sure your website is in good hands.

Do you limit bandwith, server space, email accounts, etc?

We do not set any specific limits for your website as we use a reseller account on our provider's server, but we might need to charge extra for "high-usage" websites. This is very rare though. We will never charge you anything without prior notification and we will pass-on effective costs according to what our provider charges us.
